Johnson & Wales University operates on a rolling admissions basis, meaning applications are reviewed as they are submitted. However, applying early is encouraged to secure a spot in popular programs and access financial aid. Recommended application deadlines:

International students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. JWU accepts the following minimum scores:

  • IELTS: 6.0
  • PTE: 50
    Students who do not meet these requirements may be eligible for conditional admission and can improve their English through the university’s ESL programs before starting their degree coursework.
